Review of Everest (2015) by Justin B — 20 Jun 2016
It's decision for factually accuracy over Hollywood action/disaster cliches is what makes and breaks the film. The first 80 mins of build up is slow and uneventful and while the remainder of the film is certainly emotionally stirring, it's still missing something.
There's also something completely alienating about the whole idea of people wanting to climb to their possible death in the first place.
