Everest is directed by Baltasar Kormákur, and it stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Emily Watson, Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, and Jake Gyllenhaal in an adventure film about a group of climbers that wants to go to Mt.

Everest. There had been some complications, but they managed to make it to the top, however, getting back to land is really difficult as there's a snow storm coming towards them. The trailers got me hooked up, especially when it has good writers in it.

The things that I was looking forward to this type of film, are to make it exciting, give memorable characters, and give a wide sense of spectacle, which this film gave most of it. The acting is fantastic which is expected from a big cast like this, and it also makes it unpredictable cause I know that some people actually died trying to climb Mt.

Everest and come back, and so I have no idea about who's going to survive. The cinematography looks fantastic as it shows the beauty of the scenery of it, while also showing the horrors of the weather and how it's difficult for people to even get up because it's cold.

The effects look real which I have no idea whether there's some parts that were CGI or they actually went to the cold weather. While some characters were developed enough, most of them were not so much which is disappointing to know, and there were some parts that I thought could've been paced better.

It's exciting to watch most of the time, even when it gets very depressing at the end. Everest is a great film that I wished I could've seen it in IMAX 3D as it would've made me feel more like I was there.
