Review of Everest (2015) by John Eric D — 21 Dec 2015
Words I can describe this one is "Devastating and out of breath" which they are. It is an awesome film. It's based on a true story happened in the 1996 Everest tragedy. I love the cast I thought they are all good in this film.
So badly that I want Gyllenhaal and Brolin to talk w/ each other but it didn't happened though. I love the cinematography, it is more like a movie / documentary at the same time. It is well made, you can see the authenticity on how it works as a mountaineer and being in a summit.
The last part is more like one of the most excruciating thing I've ever seen. It was painful to watch. Overall this is a must watch film definitely. By watching this, it made research the whole 1996 Everest tragedy.
We will never forget.
