Yes, I realize the French aren't mysteriously British and the Mona Lisa was actually painted on a solid wood canvas. The relationship between the characters and the emotions they express are totally real and endearing.
The scene where the old man walks up the hill with Drew trailing after him makes me tear up every single time.
