Review of EverAfter (1998) by Cate B — 29 Jun 2010
The story is absolutely beautiful, without a doubt a chick flick though, not gonna lie. But hey, that's ok. Nothing wrong with a good chick flick every once in a while. Besides, this one is more than JUST any old chick flick.
This one is based off of the classic Cinderella tale, AND is complete with morals about rich and poor, servants, love, art and so much more. The story almost makes me think of the Princess Bride in a way, I'm not sure how, but I think maybe because of the style of the movie, except its not quite as old I believe.
I just love Drew Barrymore and I think her performance was excellent.
