Review of EverAfter (1998) by Nhia T — 03 Jan 2012
The movie is great with making the view feel the woes and trials of the characters. Drew Berrymore's performance in this film is spot on with the emotions that emotions that the character is feeling and it just makes you hurt in relations to her, or maybe that's just me.
I liked the dialogue between each character because the script used many words that most people now a day don't know the meaning to. Anjelica Huston's performance as the step-mother is also great because she can really pull that "bitch-face" and you can tell that the character is pissed off.
When compared to the fun, loving, and magical version that Disney had created, this movie, with its more realistic senses have a way of making you feel closer to each character who have either lost someone they love, yearn for a better life, or is only out for riches because of the great acting.
