Review of EverAfter (1998) by Katie A — 11 May 2012
Drew Barrymore plays Danielle, a young lady who goes through the traditional plot of Cinderella. This variant, however, includes interesting twists such as the Prince Henry's (Dougray Scott) arranged marriage, the presence of Leonardo da Vinci (Patrick Godfrey), and the droll dialogue of King Francis (Timothy West).
I'm a really hard sell on chick flicks, but I found Ever After to be amusing and well made. I'd imagine that romcom fanatics would be really into it.
