Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Mark C — 11 Jul 2010
Pretty neat concept, the Shining in space essentially. The dialogue was a little cliched, especially Richard T. Jones and Fishburne, and I couldn't tell what was going on with Sam Neill's character.
Crazy to hear that PS Anderson actually cut 30 min of Gore, considering how gory it was arleady! The ending was 'eh... whole flick reminded me of a bloodier more mystical "Black Hole" but obviously that Disney flick was better (one of my all time faves as a kid!).
