Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Steve F — 01 May 2011
A genuinely frightening science fiction, but not without it's flaws. There's a fair amount of gore, but luckily not enough to be a turnoff. On further reflection, I realize this movie has many parallels to "The Shining", both in imagery and story.
Perhaps what this movie is: "The Shining In Space!".
