After the cheesy but entertaining Mortal Kombat but before starting the overrated Resident Evil franchise, Paul W.S. Anderson made this surprisingly good sci-fi horror film with a great cast including Sam Neil and Laurence Fishburne.
It's literally Hellraiser in space!
