Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Chris S — 20 Dec 2009
Event Horizon in some ways is your typical popcorn popping bloodbath. The plot is simple, the characters are two-dimensional at best, and the acting is so-so. For some reason though, I consider this to be one of my favorite movies.
Why I'm not too sure, but it was entertaining, and in some cases, plausible. I still don't believe that the ship went to "hell." I don't see how that is possible. Another dimension that is full of chaos, and violence, yes, but not hell.
For those who like sci-fi horror like Aliens, and Pandorum then check out this movie.
