Make me cry and your halfway there. Absolutely lovely movie! A story that goes straight to the heart. Naturally, it is the present day-scenes that are the most emotional. I found Claire Danes a bit out of place here, whilst Meryl Streep, Vanessa Redgrave, Natasha Richardson, and Toni Collette were absolutely marvellous - as was Glenn Close.
A bit of a family thing this movie both on and off screen. If you don't know why, look it up.
