Review of Evening (2007) by Chloe D — 03 May 2009
Blimey I'm being slow with my rentals! It's taken me over a month to get round to watching this! I think maybe I put it off a bit cos I knew it could well be a tear jerker!
As it turned out it didn't make me cry as much as I thought it would! I was expecting a very overly emotional ending but it was more beautiful! The whole film was beautifully shot and there were some truly lovely moments.
AMAZING cast - and I love how there were some real life mother/daughter actors amongst them.
I think maybe this is a film that needs to be watched again, whilst I really enjoyed it, I feel it may effect me more on a second watch!
