Review of Evening (1966) by Natalia P — 05 Aug 2015
A legendary movie in its own right, but for all the wrong reasons...twilight does well to offer stiff, emotionless characters and a love story that is about as engaging and passionate as, well...
It isn't. It should be, but dosent come across that way, it all seems to happen too quickly for me so I don't buy it.
Instead of empathising and rooting for the main character, I found I was rolling my eyes at her more often than not, though to be fair that was the case when I read the book also!
The action scenes are exciting enough, but the majority of the film seems so slow paced it's unbearable at times. It's frustrating because there's so much POTENTIAL here, but for me, twilight just dosent quite hit the bite-mark.
It's.
