Review of Evening (1966) by Andrew A — 15 Sep 2013
This installment will always be superior to its latter installments. From the cold and isolated and realistic cinematography, to the wetlands of its setting, to the music of Carter Burwell, and its particular cold-blue color palette.
Sure it's mopey and teen-centered, but one cannot deny that they were "sucked in" from beginning to end.
