Hmmm, not sure I agree with the synopsis below: "Sentimental without being saccharine". I felt it was in danger of becoming a bit sickly sweet in places myself. And "a gentle tug at the heartstrings"? More like a massive yank on them! However, the performances were extremely good and there's a lot of humour - particularly from Desmond's legal team, so it makes for a highly watchable movie.
