It wasn't spectacular. There was nothing really original in Steve Carell's performance and the whole "flood" thing became sort of anti-climatic. In the Bible God used the flood to wipe out man kind.
..probably not the best concept for a Biblical character to mimic. It tried very hard to be Bruce Almighty but without the heart that made it's predecessor a good film.
