Review of Evan Almighty (2007) by Jess L — 06 Feb 2013

I knew this movie would be average so going into it with low expectations is best. I found it funny in places and corny in others but overall I like a movie with a message and that's what made this comedy stand out a little from many others.

Two things that irritated me about this film, the montage sequences and the song over the credits where the cast is dancing, pretty corny and cringe worthy. So yeah overall your typical comedy - maybe worth checking out on dvd when it's released if there's nothing else you want to see, but I wouldn't pay 15 bux to go see it in the cinema.
