Review of EuroTrip (2004) by Bryan W — 22 May 2010
Say what you will without seeing it, but this film defies the expectations of being a stupid teen comedy. Though it carries with it a certain expectation fulfilled in penis jokes and gratuitous boob shots, jokes concerning the nature of pope elections and conversation rate of currency cut through these expected moments to make the viewing experience light while it catches you off-guard.
With a few wonderfully inspired cameos (including one by a current super celebrity with a well-earned, respected reputation) to keep things fresh, there's more reasons to watch this than not, even if you can't stand Jacob Pitts' shit eating grin.
