Review of Europa Report (2013) by Brett H — 31 Oct 2013

For a low-budget film the special effects are surprisingly believable, but the filmmakers seemed to focus most on how to make everything realistic, at the expense of the viewer. This film is BORING, until the last 15 minutes or so and you never get invested in any of the characters.

There's one really great actor in this, but he's not given much screen time and the rest are merely passable. There's a kind-of cool pay-off at the very end, but it's not worth slogging through the rest.

Could've been really cool, but it's nothing you haven't seen before.
