Review of Europa Report (2013) by Ville V — 06 Jan 2014
As a sci-fi lover I instinctually am more drawn in by this movie. And the fact that it is relatively realistic makes it easier to be drawn in. A simplistic story line that's slow paced and doesn't have any high velocity infused Hollywood drama which is refreshing in sci-fi. Lower budget which I thought id notice more but it didn't affect my pleasure of viewing this slow dangerous trek onto an unexplored moon. Characters were all good. Nobody tried to steal the show or be the hero. All believable humans on a somewhat believable journey. I felt I was there with them as they had things continuously become more dangerous and deadly without them realizing the true peril they were under.
I would only recommend to people who really enjoy science fiction and don't have ADHD as it is very slow to start and the excitement lies in being able to believe in what you see.
