A manned mission to Jupiter's moon Europa encounters some unexpected surprises.
An interesting cast cannot quite make up for a lacklustre screenplay. The mock documentary format and voiceover does not work that well. The internal scenes are technically great but the movie lacks much needed CGI for other shots. This all gives it a 'B' movie feel. As an exploration movie it echoes the kind of mystery and tension created in 'The Abyss'. Fun and fascinating viewing for SF aficionados.
