Review of Europa Europa (1990) by Daisy M — 29 Apr 2009
A WWII film with a very unique point of view; that of a young man who must adopt cultural ideals in order to survive the Holocaust. I was deeply moved by the human connections he was able to make throughout the film with people of all beliefs. That stands for approval of human goodness, that is not often showed in this kind of movies. The lead characters and the rest of the supporting cast were spectacular.
The acting, the setting, the sounds, everything is perfect. This film is just wonderful.
