Review of Eulogy (2004) by Rhys G — 24 Feb 2008
A muddlingly mediocre dysfunctional family film with a decent pedigree but damn little to bring it to the head of the class. I give it three stars mostly on the basis of the absurdity of the scene where Katie (Zooey Deschanel) reads what she knows to be a fake eulogy for her grandfather while her bastard cousins try to set fire to the dead man's coffin while humming bagpipe tunes.
MAN, I hated those children.
