Review of Eulogy (2004) by Zurino O — 21 Apr 2011
What garbage! Everything is predictable here: every plot "twist", every "humorous" cue, every inch of unearned sentimentality near the end. The characters are all exaggerated, stupid stereotypes (except for Zooey Deschanel's character, who simply lacks depth).
When the film asks for you to emphasize with them near the end, it is impossible because the characters are just too grating and unbelievable. Avoid, please.
