Review of Eternity and a Day (1998) by Pavandeep S — 22 Sep 2007
A splendid movie, visually brilliant, though this film won at Cannes, I prefer 'Landscapes in the Mist' more than this out of the three of Angelopoulos films I've watched. The story is just resplendent, very stark and daring with some amazing, probably Gothic influenced shots like those at the border.
A director who knows how to use the camera and mise-en-scene and not just a story.
