The popularity of this movie baffles me. I love Jim Carrey doing drama, but nearly everything about this movie just doesn't sit with me. Perhaps my biggest grievance is the premise- I know it's sci-fi, but for a movie that wants to be so deep, it fails to understand the impact of memories and the people in your life.
It's well-directed, though.
