I remember the rmDC days in my teen years, semi-depressed, looking for an epiphany, something ambiental... This movie was the sole reason for shifting my whole life paradigm in my teen years. It should be on any teenager's to-watch list. This, combined with Albert Camus' Stranger are two pieces of art that will definitely help define who you are and mold you into a person you really want to be.
