This movie is one of the biggest opinion swings I've ever had. I was a "tween" when this film came out, and I loved it. Saw it at least a dozen times. Then I didn't see it for about 25 years, rewatched it...and, YIKES. It simply doesn't hold up over time for me. I probably would have given a grade of 8 or so when I was a kid (not that I really thought of grades at that time) - but now I see it for what it really is.
Grade = 4/10.
