Review of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) by Jerome S — 18 Feb 2016
A classic through and through. Unabashedly sentimental, beautifully acted. Spielberg, as usual, is in top form here. His direction is spot on and his ability to get great performances out of a youthful cast is unmatched.
Henry Thomas gives one is if not the best performance by a young actor ever. (Really?!?! No nomination? Unbelievable). John Williams score is timeless and classic.
