If you don't like this movie your probably not human. Or an alien. In fact I would have no idea what you are. This is the pinnacle of what movies can and should be. A simple yet fantastic idea using everything the medium has to offer to get you to care about this little pudgy alien and his human companion.
Nothing political to read into it all at. Just simple raw emotions and it's not pretentious about it. For the young and old, this film is for everyone.
