Review of Escobar: Paradise Lost (2014) by Brodie A — 23 Jan 2015
Somewhat based on Pablo Escobar's life. Josh Hutcherson (insert Peeta screams here) falls in love with Escobar's niece. He's a Canadian living a surfer's dream on the beach in Colombia.
He slowly learns what the family business is really like. The niece is blind to her uncles secret life of drugs and murder. Hutcherson's character is looped into helping Escobar move treasure before he gives himself up to the authorities.
It all goes crashing downhill afterwards. This is a pretty serious role for Hutcherson and he doesn't disappoint. Benicio Del Toro was a great Escobar as well.
