Review of Escobar: Paradise Lost (2014) by Maximiliano H — 30 Dec 2017

There is good intention and some bits of real thriller behind "Escobar: Paradise Lost", but that is mostly showcased by the two male leads, who are as convincing and gripping as they are needed to be.

That said, the film lacks real depth the more it progresses, becomes trapped in a maze of narrative clichés and wastes some good ideas.
