Review of Escape to Witch Mountain (1995) by Heather S — 19 Oct 2010

Now I admit that the special effects of this movie are not the best and it is a bit cheesy but it is classic. It is an oddity but certainly that is part of its charm. The story is fairly predictable but has some entertaining action scenes.

The characters of the children seem develop well although the end is left rather open and a lot is not explained. I think it is a good kids movie and is refreshingly free from potty humor and language.

It is a good family movie.. although more appropriate for ages 8 and up. It is a fun magical movie that captures the imagination. I would watch it again. If you do watch it though be prepared for a movie lacking the pace and special effects of many films today but if you like older movies this one is for you.
