(1975) Escape To Witch Mountain.
FANTASY/ ADVENTURE/ SCIENCE- FICTION.
Enjoyable film from Disney, about two orphaned children who're already aware about their psychic abilities and levitation powers go on an odyssey in search of their missing parents and to learn about their identites with a wealthy mogul and it's cohorts searching for them as well for the intentions of exploitation!
Despite some average acting, I found the reactions and it's situations are more credible than say a film like the first "Spiderman" film directed by Sam Raimi, where it would show a scene of a young Mary Jane slipping and Peter Parker would just catche her and all the continents on her food tray and the reaction from the crowd was 'what a freak!' as opposed to this film, everybody just moves away and with their silence, staying back as if afraid that they're not like the other children! This film also has similar overtones to Spielberg's multi-million dollar hit E.T. because of the flying camper and the fact that they're trying to find their way home! The first of 3 films!
3 out of 4.
