An enjoyable old fashioned 80's/90's-esque film that is paces ahead of the audience. there are some surprises to be had, but the film is fun and knows what it is.Everything else about Escape Plan is just enough to get by.
The acting is ok with Caveizel playing the best and the script meeting standards with some twists that you may not expect. The trailers didn't serve the movie justice because all it really showed we're the first 20 minutes which is where the movies falters, but it gradually gets better.
