Review of Escape Plan (2013) by Jonathon P — 10 Feb 2015

I was excited bout watching this film. I mean, you can definitely watch Arnold and Stallone together in a full stand alone film. But then, I thought, it could have been better. At first, I was like, ok, they are making some heist film or whatever.

Then it focuses on that prison setting, which I thought, l saw this one before. And there you go, you see your favorite action heroes talking, and planning, tortured, and being tortured again? I mean it gets repetitive at times that makes you uninterested.

The best part, though, is the last scenes. Though I'm not going to spoiled anything here. But that, my friends, is what you called bad ass. Maybe they are on a budget just to focus on a prison break story.

But it would be awesome if they do it in a "Fast and Furious" type of action. Still, a good action flick, with a decent story line, slow paced first half, but awesome action scenes in the last part.
