Review of Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018) by Marron G — 28 Jun 2018
Terrible acting. Terrible directing. The story is pure garbage. There's absolutely no point to the story at all and the film does nearly nothing to even care that you don't know what is happening.
Stallone is not the focus like in the first movie. The advertising is completely misleading, as the main protagonist is a terrible foreign actor who couldn't successfully play a sock puppet in a play for 2-year-olds if his life depended on it.
He could, however, kick and punch his way out of a wet paper bag if that entertains you. The entire film forfeits itself to the so-called success the first one had overseas and it shows. It's a low-rate, crap kung-fu film.
This really, really, really sucks. Stallone should be ashamed and embarrassed that he would take part in this abomination. It feels like I got duped and he could care a less that he's putting out garbage like this for his long-time fans.
This is just terrible. I hate this movie, and I hate his fake face.
