Im unsure, speechless for lack of a better word, at just quite what this film is trying to achieve. I've seen films, from Lynch, Jodorofsky, Arronofsky, Terry Gillingham and David Cronenberg that this film clearly resonates from, but its all and none of the above at the same time.

Jim and his family go on holiday to Disney land, as far as bad days goes, Jim is literally having the worst. He awakens to find out he's lost his job, his wife doesnt show him the love and affection he craves, he becomes obsessed with 2 teenage girls and thats all before this film turns into a mix of the prisoner and fuck knows what else.

Part of me wants to love this film, it has something so unique and engrossing about it, you literally have never seen anything like it, it merges so many different styles that you cant help but laugh at how ludicrious some of it actually it.

Then there are parts that just seem to rehash and dance over the same topic just for filler, or is it effect? I have no idea. The film looks excellent for the feel it is going for, and the trip out sequences certainly do their job very well, but after a while, we are essentially just retreading old ground continuiously until a finale that just makes sense and literally no more.

As a study on going mad in a theme park, this is a work of art, but apart from that, it really has no idea what its message is. The acting is a mixed bag, nothing seems out of place though as the entire thing is so preposterous you go with it anyway, you just feel like your missing something.

Half way through I really wanted to love this film, I wanted it to be my new favorite indie movie, but its just too random, to unfocused to have that moniker. As an example of psychadelica by goodness the stoners will love it, but as any long lasting piece of sci fi, this will sadly be erased from our memories in a few years.
