Review of Escape from Tomorrow (2013) by James R — 25 Jul 2015
A really really bizarre film. Shot "guerrilla" style the film was shot without permission at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It follows a man named Jim (Roy Abramsohn) and his family during their trip to Walt Disney World.
Jim actually just lost his job and in all honesty is a bit of a creep. Throughout the film he seems to be a really terrible father (he constantly is losing his kids) and he's following around some underage french girls (creepy).
The movie is actually entertaining to a point because the fact that it's actually shot at the parks. Some shots are with a green screen, but most of it is on site with non actors. The film is all over the place though.
It's kinda creepy, but there's a lot of slow down in the film during the last half. Overall, not a film for everyone, but film buffs may want to take a look!
