Review of Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) by Chris M — 16 Jul 2007
The third in the series, Cornellius and Zira end up travelling through space and end up in 1970's America. This film is a great addition to the series as it sets into motion the downfall of mankind and shows just how treacherous and cruel human beings can be in order to achieve certain goals.
The deaths of Cornellius and Zira in this film are a statement to that fact, Ricardo Montalban plays a supporting but in the end pivotal role in this film.
