Review of Escape from Sobibor (1987) by Robert B — 01 Aug 2008
Not too bad for a movie as cheaply made as this. Dealing with the Holocaust is always a touchy subject, and this does show a good deal of the ugliness without respite. Decent enough acting, considering most of it was done by no-names.
I don't know if its in the DVD release, but on the VHS copy, there is an editing error, where you can see one of the camera's in plain view. Its the scene where Rutger Hauer and his troops are marching into the camp.
