Review of Escape from Planet Earth (2013) by Nancy O — 17 Feb 2013

My grandchildren, ages 12, 10 & 7, and I enjoyed it. I'm so glad we ignored the critics. That seems to be all that they are--so filled with themselves being voice of critiCISM, they can't just enjoy. There were many times the children were laughing out loud. And how nice it is that the movie didn't need to throw in potty humor that taints so many "family" movies.

We've had fun reenacting the alien's meeting with one of those air-driven advertisement characters that are seen outside of stores. "In my world we shake hands, but..." And he flails his arms around in what he thinks is the way earthlings greet one another.
