Review of Escape from Planet Earth (2013) by Jason Z — 06 Mar 2013

I don't even know where to start by saying how bad this movie was! Seriously, this movie is not only unfunny and immature, but the movie was also poorly animated and really cliche. Yes celebrity voices like, Brendan Fraser, Rob Corddry, Ricky Gervais, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara and Sarah Jessica Parker are all in this film, but honestly they all did a terrible job, none of them supplied any jokes and none of them were even likeable.

I know, I can say that this movie is at least good for kids to watch, but truthfully I don't even think kids would even like this movie. I think what really pissed me off about this film was the fact it was trying to be clever with it's jokes and characters, but it failed horribly at it.

Pretty much everything that was in this film was a big fail, the pop culture references weren't funny, the characters weren't interesting, the animation design was ugly, the plot was boring and cliched and the pacing was very slow.

So, there wasn't anything that I liked in this movie and I will not recommend this piece of crap to anyone.
