The hype left me disappointed. It's a fun flick, but not nearly as exciting as I had hoped for. Snake Plisskin is bad-ass, but I enjoyed Kurt Russell much more in The Thing. I think the pacing and execution by Carpenter just wasn't quite on the ball here or up to par on some if his other greats.
