Review of Escape from New York (1981) by Bobby L — 03 Dec 2009
A great, paced sci-fi actioner with some amazing music. This is my second favorite Carpenter film, and everything about it, from the set design to the costumes to the acting to the cinematography all work to immerse you in this dystopian future, and the script is interesting, and the fact that it actually allows the hero a moment to sit down and think about what to do next is very smart.
