Escape from new york is a solid action movie witha solid cast.John carpenter creates new york into a giant prison filled with cannibals,bikers,scientists,the good stuff.Kurt russell is perfect for the role as the anti-hero snake plissken who is sent on a mission to save the president of the united states from new york(hence the title).
This movie is a great flick to check out must see.
