Review of Escape from New York (1981) by Zack S — 08 Sep 2011

Escape From New York is a bit dated, but still an awesome film. John Carpenter is also a very underrated director because his direction here is brilliant. I also thought Kurt Russell was great and his character Snake Plissken was quite interesting and cool.

You also can't beat the film's great soundtrack as well! Definitely one of the best action movies of the 80s. I look forward to and dread the remake because it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to top this!
