Review of Escape from New York (1981) by Ryan C — 10 Sep 2014
One of my all time favorite movies, this is a wild ride. This take-no-prisoner type movie takes place in a dystopian future, where one of the biggest bada***s ever in a movie, Snake Plissken, has to go into the worlds biggest prison (new york) and save the president because his plane crashed down.
This movie is just as exciting and action packed as The Warriors and it kind of has the same feel of it too so I like that as well. Not to mention my second favorite movie director ever (John Carpenter) made this and that even adds more too it.
This is a crazy wild ride that you'll never forget.
