Lets just get this straight, I love the work of John Carpenter, the man is a master of his craft. This film however is one of his weaker efforts, while 'Escape from New York' is masterpiece, 'LA' is an entertaining, but very flawed piece of storytelling, recovery hardly any of the nuance of its predecessor.
